This assignment challenged us to create a concept for a small business venture that filled a unique void in the market. In response our group of four devised a product to capitalise on popular trends of 2016 - a colouring book inspired by pop culture.
My role was to design the brand image. We aimed to convey a youthful and humourous attitude. The name 'waste your time 2k16' encapsulated the facetious nature of the book, also alluding to the annual release of issues.
The publication was inspired by internet culture. the modernist aesthetic reflected the youthful attitude of the brand, mainly through the sans serif typeface and monochromatic colour scheme.
